suzybruner Posted October 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2004 My roller bag fit through the security screener. It's about twice as big as a regular backpack. Suzy

Earthworm Jim Posted October 16, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 16, 2004 Thanks! Im trying to do carry ons only for our 3 day cruise coming up! thanks again :) If you want to smuggle booze onboard your not going to want to have only carry-on luggage. newbie2cruise Posted October 16, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted October 16, 2004 If you want to smuggle booze onboard your not going to want to have only carry-on luggage. IM really not a big drinker. For our last 7 day, we took 1 bottle of wine, and I bought 3 drinks so it wont be a problem :)
newbie2cruise Posted October 16, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted October 16, 2004 are you from rockford or did you relocate there? i graduated from rockford college in 1987 (ooopsie! i'm giving away my elderliness:p ) HI we lived in DEkalb( we come from central Il originally), but when we went to buy a house it was Yikes! we could afford a small, I mean tiny yard. So we moved here almost 3 years ago. We live about 1 mi from the mall, so it is a good location, plus we got over 2 acres here!! Where do you live now ? It is getting mighty cold out already, but hey IM going to Miami and the Bahamas in 28 days!. the rockford airport is expanding, they start flying to fll, one month after my cruise. They would be so much nicer than driving to Midway!

ParrotHeadFL Posted October 16, 2004 #11 Share Posted October 16, 2004 I'm really paranoid about my carry-on stuff. I want to take my laptop on myself, and hopefully the carrying case for it won't be too big. My understanding (this being our first cruise) is that we also need to carry on anything that we might need within the next few hours, since it can take a while for luggage to arrive. So, wouldn't that include a change of clothes for dinner?
