Was thinking about the Hotel Traiano but how far is that from Rome? We want to go in early to see the sights. Any recommendations?

Hotel Traiano is located in the city center, close to the cruise ship port. Thanks to our ideal location it is easy to reach us by car in only 40 minutes from Rome and 30 minutes from the airport in Fiumicino. We are about 1 km from the "Civitavecchia Nord" exit of the A12 highway which runs from Rome to Civitavecchia. It is also easy to reach us by train. The train station is only a few minutes walk from our hotel and trains to and from Rome run about every half hour.
