aqualojoy Posted July 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Since the Liberty is larger than the Legend, are the cabins on both ships the same size? We have been on the Legend in a balcony room (Empress Deck) and I wonder will the balcony room (Empress Deck) same category that we have reserved on the Liberty be the same size? 092306 Posted July 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2008 I believe the cabins are the same size on any Carnival ship. The big difference is the public areas. My wife and I have been on the Legend and on the Victory. The atrium, for example, was smaller then on the Legend. It has to be seeing how there are more people on the Liberty then on the Legend. Yes, they will be the same size. Enjoy your cruise:)
bakechef Posted July 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2008 They may also look exactly the same. If I am not mistaken, they have them made all in one place and send them to whichever shipyard is building the ship. MAC
tropicalbreeze94 Posted July 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2008 I agree that the cabins are the same size on all of the Carnival ships. While I have not been on the Legend yet (we are booked for 10/19/08), we have been on the sisters ships the Miracle and the Pride. We were also on the Liberty in 7/07. The Liberty is much bigger and as already stated, the common areas are where you see it the most. The Liberty has a large TV screen on the Lido deck that shows announcements, music videos, and movies pretty much 24/7. With the ship being wider, you do not have to always walk through the casino like on the Legend.
