zebra Posted October 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2004 Can anyone help us with regard to what shore excursions are offered on the Mediterranean cruises. Are they all on large tour busses? We prefer small tours and last month on the Millenium in the Med we used private tour guides in most of the ports. Is this what we should do travelling with Oceania as well? We need to make a decision soon to be able to secure the tour guide of our choice. Is there any way one can find out what shore excursion options are available? Thanks for the help. elin Posted October 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2004 Hi Zebra, They are indeed all on large bus tours. There are usually 2-4 buses per "destination" (ie tour). They are the big 32 (I think) seat buses. If you want a smaller group, you will have to book your own private tour. Hope this helps. Elin
elin Posted October 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2004 Sorry, I missed the second part of your question. You can check out what tours are offered online. If you go to the website and look up your cruise, for the different port location, if you click on the name of your port, then click on "Destinations and Excursions". It will give you a list of all tours offered from each port. It should also give you the cost of each tour. Elin
