Anything special for 4th July?

Hi everyone,

 

We're in the very early stages of planning another cruise probably out of Port Canaveral or Miami. To fit in with DH's shift pattern it looks as if we could be onboard for the 4th July, so we were wondering if RCI do anything special or different onboard to celebrate the 4th?

Not too much. we were on the Liberty on the 4th and all they did was decorate the Royal Promenade. That's about it.

The 4th of July is to celebrate America's Independence! It's not a world-wide holiday, and since the ships aren't even registered in the USA.... don't expect anything!

We were on Serenade last year over the 4th and they had a HUGE flag cake and red/white/blue balloon bouquets all around, this was just centrally located at the centrum lobby bar area.

The day before, they had the same thing for Canada Day.

I brought along some cute plastic 4th of July bunting for our balcony,hung is on the outside of the railing, could see it from the port, a decoration for our cabin door, and a couple little decorations for the inside of the cabin as well. :D;)
