flamomo Posted August 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Not sure if this has been addressed on this forum. I will be taking my dual voltage travel hair dryer, and am wondering if I need to take a converter for the plug. We're staying 2 nights at the IC Papeete precruise. I didn't see anything on the hotel website about it. I have not needed the adaptor on the Princess ships I've been on, and am guessing I will not need it for the Tahitian. Hope someone can help me with this subject. Thanks Flamomo
Spikesgirl Posted August 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2008 For a major resort and the Tahitian, no, you will not need a converter plug. It's only if you are going to stay in one of the smaller hotels or a pension that you might need one.

In March we needed an adapter/converter in the OWB at IC Tahiti--in the past our rooms there were equiped with both plug-ins--could be that the section of OWB we were in was maybe built earlier--in the Panorama rooms etc. no problem Also IC Bora Bora-you need converter/adapter Have a great trip !! Spikesgirl Posted August 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Forgot about the OWB - thanks, Nancy! We always stay in the regular rooms in Papeete, so I didn't even think about it. Sorry!!
flamomo Posted August 15, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Thanks Charlie and Nancy, As usual I can count on one or both of you providing the info I need. We are staying in a Panorama room at the IC. So it sounds as rhough I won't need to bother with it. One less thing to remember to pack!
