Sorry for the spelling. the Coral Princess.

Has anyone stayed on the Plaza Deck, ocean view, near the rear? We have never stayed in this location and it looks we will, but I would like to know. Do you hear the engins, does it rock more, is the view ok. Just a lot of questions. Please help.

Hi,

We were on the plaza deck mid/back a few weeks ago. No noise, less rocking because you are low down, nice window view. I was a little concerned because we were under the casino, but we never heard anything.

I was on the Island Princess for a 15-day cruise to/from HI and had a Plaza deck outside cabin, about half-way down the corridor. I LOVED the location for several reasons: the only people on the corridor are going to these cabins, i.e., it's not a pass-through; there is a self-serve laundry and since most, if not all, of the people using it were from this deck, it was rarely crowded; coming back from an excursion, I only had to walk up one or two flights and there I was, no waiting for an elevator; at night, I loved being able to stop by the bar for a soft drink to take to my cabin before retiring; it was very convenient to the Passenger Services Desk and the Shore Desk if I had any questions, often avoiding any lines; it was very quiet, very stable if you feel motion at all (I don't but it was still nice); etc. If I were booking an OV cabin, I wouldn't hesitate to book a cabin on this deck again.

Your comment 4 yrs later is still appreciated. We were assigned p519 so looking to see if the lounge or casino noise will be an issue. Hopefully things haven't changed
