thrills in st.kitts??????

Me and my parents are going on the carnival Victory in Feb :D

Im wondering if there is any thing awesome:cool: in st.kitts.

We were thinking about Brimstone hill fortres (for the historic stuff) then turtle beach (for the beer stealing monkeys:D ) but i heard somthing was happening with turtle beach:( so im looking for :

 

 

1: info on Brimstone Hill and Turtle Beach

2: any suggestions for fun in st.kitts

Brimstone Hill Fortress is an exceptionally well preserved British Army hilltop fortress

and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

If you're a (military)historical type and appreciate the older stuff

you might like it.

 

It's quite scenic, especially up at the very top

Brimstone Hill is on our list for our next visit to St Kitts (whenever that is:rolleyes: )

 

We took the train tour which we really enjoyed. Here's a couple of pics:

 

 



 

 

If you do take the train, opt for the morning tour if possible. It got bloody hot by the afternoon.

You won't find beer drinking monkey at Turtle Beach any more. An upscale restaurant has recently opened there.
