Oasis Hump

We were thinking of booking a hump cabin on the Oasis but I have one question for all of you that have enjoyed a hump cabin before. I know the advantage is that you can enjoy forward and back views but what about straight down views? Do you see water or walking decks?

From the deck plans, it doesn't look like there will be true humps on Oasis! The cabins appear to be placed in a straight line, with no curvature.

I was looking at the Oasis Brochure pictures and it looks like the Life Boats may be blocking straight down water views? Anyone else think this?

From the exterior renderings it appears that there are two humps on each side of the ship. The deck plans show the balconies extending out at the humps even though the corridor is straight. Looks to me like the hump is achieved by creating larger balconies rather than stateroom placement.

There are two humps of each side of Oasis. And unlike Voyager/Freedom class, hump cabins on Oasis have larger balconies. 30 sqft larger to be exact.

Well it seems with the balconys bowing out you would see water, but not sure any of us will definitely know until we hear back from the first set of passengers...in Dec 2009.
