questions about upgrading

If you really want a better room, it's best to do it now--if you wait until you board, the odds of anything good is slim. You'll just have to call them and see how the cabins are priced at this point in time. If the ship is filling, don't count on any "discounts"!

Hi

Have you checked availability of the cabins that you want to "upgrade to" online? Are there some available?

Cruiselines often try to move people up (upgrade people) to more expensive cabins before the sale date (hoping that someone will come in and snap up a cheap inside/outside at the last minute). So, although you CAN (occassionally) get a good deal by waiting until you get to the Port, there may be no availability by the time you get there.

If you REALLY want to upgrade (and it is available now), then do it now. If it is a bit of a whim (and you don't really mind if it doesn't happen), then waiting is ok.

Good luck :)

Boo
