cherylandtk Posted September 18, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Don't know, but I bet United is squirming a bit given their recent increase.....
haligonian37 Posted September 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Also of note, Canada's "other" airline, Westjet have dropped the fuel surcharge from their bookings. They have also never charged passengers for checking a second bag and have vowed not to. Air Canada has also integrated the fuel surcharge into the base fare you see when booking online.....in order to makes fares more "transparent". While it's nice to see AC dropping the second bag fee, they are still charging $25 for checking baby car seats and any sports equipment.
