Dr.Oz Posted September 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2008 Does anyone know if there are any currency exchange booths at the Buenos Aires airport? Not ATMs. Thanks.
mike@sea Posted September 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2008 There are currency exchange booths, inside the luggage belt area, as well as outside arrival area. The rate is not as good as getting it downtown or from the ATM.
Rare Peregrina651 Posted September 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2008 Dr. Oz -- I remember some other discussion of currency exchange and ATMs in this forum. There is one post that talks about which exchange bureaux and which ATMs give the better rates. If you use the 'search this forum' drop down menu on the South America forum page, you should be able to find the posts. Don't use advance search, it is temporarily out of order. Dr.Oz Posted September 21, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted September 21, 2008 Peregrina651, thanks for the suggestion. I did a search and found the information that I needed. It looks like the Banco National at the airport is the best place to exchange money.
