Unusual Fuel Surcharge

HA!! We thought it was bad when the airlines started to charge a fuel surcharge on flights....I just placed an order on Kodak website, at the end was a $3.95 fuel surcharge for delivery. That was in addition to the standard delivery rate!!

Our trash carrier has been charging a "fuel surcharge" for over a year--it varies according to the prices. Everyone is doing it nowadays, rather than just increase prices to cover their fuel costs.

At least they have fuel....The two gas stations closest to my house were out of gas, all grades, at lunchtime...:mad:

most of Nashville was out of gas for most of the last week.

This morning I ordered flowers to be sent to my mother for her Birthday, there was a delivery charge and a $1.00 fuel surcharge. Here in Washington, all of the taxis also have a $1.00 fuel surcharge on top of the metered fare. It seems to be everywhere.
