Jevey Posted April 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2004 We have just won an auction as a wedding gift, for our daughters' upcoming wedding in June. She knows little about it, and it will be a complete surprise for her hubby to be. My question is; how can I gain credit for her past cruises on RCCL that were over ten years ago? One of the ships is no longer floating with RCCL, and she cannot remember the date of her other cruise! Any input would be most welcome. Happy sails to you all, we only go around once! dcourt Posted April 17, 2004 #15 Share Posted April 17, 2004 Here is an answer to the original question. My siblings and I made reservations for our parents 60th anniversary. They too had not cruised in about 10 years. I called directly to RCI and told them that my parents had cruised with them many times but not in the last 10 years and they asked what ship did they last cruise and about when it was. The ship they had cruised on back then was also no longer with the fleet. They ended up giving us a new membership number and they received the credit from the C & A magazine and will get the perks as a past cruiser. Hope this helps. rncruiser Posted April 17, 2004 #16 Share Posted April 17, 2004 I too hadn't cruised in almost 10 years but wanted to get credit for my 4 past cruises. I just put the sail dates as best as I could remember on the enrollment form and was given credit without any problems. I ahd even cruised twice before I was married so those cruises were under my maiden name and I still had no problems. Now that I have my 5th RCCL cruise under my belt I will have Platinum status for my next one.
