jjanes27 Posted October 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Does anyone know where Royal Caribben docks in Cairns? We are arranging a tour, and the guide wants to know if we dock in Yorkey's Knob or in the city.
Rare MMDown Under Posted October 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Does anyone know where Royal Caribben docks in Cairns? We are arranging a tour, and the guide wants to know if we dock in Yorkey's Knob or in the city. In my experience, most ships dock at Yorkey's Knob, which is a northern suburb of Cairns. If you don't get an answer from someone who knows you could ask Royal Caribbean or Cairns Tourism.
daycarectr Posted October 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Hi Julie! From what I have been told the ship anchors off of Yorkey's Knob, and tenders in to the Half Moon Bay Marina: http://marina.yorkeysknob.com
Bob&Janet Posted October 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Julie, the RCI website shows that Cairns is a tender port, so the ship will therefore anchor off Yorkey's Knob. As the previous poster said, you should be tendered to Half Moon Bay Marina. Cheers Bob
