D2 cabin, balcony... seeking comments about location and any pros or cons. We were assigned this cabin by the TA rather than picking it, so I am hoping for some reassurance that it isn't an undesirable cabin?

It's a bit forward for me, but it'll be fine. It's a "superior" cabin--no issues with noise or anything.

Thanks for the reply. Since this is our first cruise I've been reading all the boards here and have read that some folks are more affected by the possibility of motion in forward cabins. I'm hoping that won't be a problem for us? Lets hope if it is felt it'll rock us to sleep like babies, eh? I hope the view off the balcony is unobstructed.... we'll see!

Its a very nice cabin. It is the largest balcony before going to a suite. I would doubt very highly that a room in this catagory would have an obstructed view.
