Deck 2 cabins very noisy?

We are booked on to the Sprirt on the 7th August for the 2nd time but this time we are going to up the the Fjords and are booked on deck 2. Never been on deck 2 always deck 4 so was wondering if it is going tobe very noisy with the engines. Booked down their so that if it is a bit rough on the north sea we wont feel it as much. Is that just wishful thinking?

No, Deck 2 is fine - but might be worth spending £35 to secure a cabin which is mid-ship though. We go there for reasons you have given - I don't know whether it's psychological but I always feel better lower down in rough weather! :)

We have booked our cabin I think we have got 688 but can't remember what number I booked now!! :D
