Thomson Destiny

Recommended Posts

My brother and his wife are going on their first cruise on the Thomson Destiny Transatlantic trip in April 2009.

They are worried about rough seas and want to know if the Destiny has stabilisers and if so do they help?

Well, she has got stabilisers. They may or may not work, though! See report from 2 years ago at

It is best not to be worried - some ships are better without than with. Just sit back and enjoy the motion (if it gets rough, and that is by no means guaranteed) and keep eating.

Will they be going on 1 April ?

You could suggest they ask at reception for their personal stabilisers, similar to water wings :D
