Infinity to Dry Dock

It's my understanding (but not sure) that the Infinity has gone into dry dock. If so, does anyone have an idea of what repairs they intend to make to her?

Hi I also had the same questions but I search and I found that the 2 weeks and a half that the Infinity will be in Florida is to change I really dont know how to say it in english but they are going to refresh the ship.

This drydock is first and foremost for installing the auxiliary diesel engines that were previously added to the other 3 M-class ships.

in other areas too? Example, carpets and things of that nature?

2 weeks is a good period of time to be out of service.

 

I will be on the first sailing after her drydock..its a short

4 nighter on Dec 3rd. Bet she looks sparkling;)

I had previously phoned to ask Celebrity about the planned drydock (11/15-12/3, I think it still is) because we'll be on the 1/31 sailing from Valpairso. In addition to mechanicals, it was to include the regular cosmetic refurbishment -- painting, carpet replacement where needed, same for other soft goods. I plan to call again around 12/8 to get the final scoop.

Please post when you get an update on the Infinity dry dock from Celebrity.

I'm very interested in what they are doing to her. We are on next fall 09/25/09 to the Panama Canal.
