NEED INPUT: GBI Sea Safari "Fantasia" Or "Sand Dollar" Cptn Tony

Did you end up taking either the Fantasia or Sandollar charter? We will be there in March and are looking into them both. I would love to hear about your experience. Thanks in advance!

Is this Nassau or Freeport?

 

This is in "Freeport"... Remember Freeport is on the Bahamian island "Grand Bahama Island". The "town" of Freeport is actually a "private" town and was created on government land that was leased for a long time to a corporation. It has very little to do with where you go now. The area called "Our Lucaya" or Port Lucaya is now the place to go.

It's just that everyone still says Freeport like Nassau.

On our last cruise we docked in Freeport and Nassau, we did Atlantis in Nassau and Lucaya beach in Freeport. We are going again in June and are investigating our options again, this looks like a nice option for Freeport, thanks!

Ditto on Bob's comment!! We did the Sand Dollar in August and it was great.

 

1 lady on here had a bad day on the Sand Dollar back in December but I am hoping that Capt Tony was just having an "difficult" day because I am planning a cruise with GBI in the itinerary just so we can go back out with him.
