Need helpful Princess hints for a Christmas gift

Hello to all you Princess cruisers! My parents are setting sail for their first Princess cruise in a few months (they sailed Celebrity once years ago) and I am putting together a cruise survival basket for them for Christmas with port of call info, handy items to have, ship info, etc.

 

Are there any helpful hints about cruising Princess you can give? Or is there a thread somewhere like this anyone can direct me to? I seem to remember seeing one a while back and can't find it now.

 

I am going to type up the responses and add it to their cruise goody basket. :D I know a lot about Carnival but can't answer their ship and/or line specific questions for them. I'm looking for stuff like info on dining, how they handle tips, cabin amenities, etc. The ship will be the Caribbean Princess from San Juan if that makes any difference.
