Camp Carnival on Fantasy

HI everyone! Anyone out there whose little ones didn't like camp carnival? My dd was 4 when we cruised on the Ecstasy and at the end we stopped taking her because she would cry and did not want to go. We are going to give it another try on the Fantasy this time and was wondering if anyone had any advise on how to make it more enjoyable for her? She is bit on the shy and quiet side, 6 now, and I figured we might try talking to the counselors about it??

We were on the Inspiration this summer and my DD who was 8 at the time didn't like it either. She has been in a daycare setting before and goes to summer camp but she is the shy and quiet type. However, our friends kids loved it. Their kids were 3, 4, and 6.

Yes, my DD was also used to the daycare setting as well but I suppose it was not her comfort zone. Thank you so much for your reply, I hope this time it is much better!
