bluefintuna Posted November 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2008 We are sailing on Indy in a week and I can't remember what perks are available if you are platinum.
FEMH Posted November 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Coupon book with a free wine, beer, soda, or water, $7.50 free internet minutes, free match play in the casino, 10% off RCCL logo merch in shops, invitation to the platinum/diamond lunch. There may be a few more. I can't recall. It's a small step up from gold, and you're on your way to Diamond!

Also, you get robes in the cabin. We spent the last morning of the cruise in Portofino's - with pastries and coffee/tea - waiting for our number to be called. Since we became platinum on the second leg of our B2B, I have yet to experience embarkation at that level, but I believe there is a special line for embarkation. Plat/D/D+ line, sometimes together with the suites, sometimes separated.
JJ2sail Posted November 30, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Don't forget the Balcony cabin discount. $100 for 7 day cruises. Not sure of the other levels.
kyriecat Posted November 30, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2008 If you're the type to book air through RC, you get the custom air surcharge waived. However, if the airline cancels your custom flights and you request different ones, it's $70 pp. Also, on 7 night and longer cruises, RC offers a platinum and up brunch or afternoon event with complementary wine, champagne, and some cocktails. Any OBC involved? I'll call C&A but just hoping to get the correct answer here.:D Stupid question: Forgot I have to book onboard or own stock. Will book Oasis onboard next week. I'll need every credit I can get for that cruise!
over the edge Posted November 30, 2008 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2008 We only need a couple of more credits to become Diamond. If we book a 5 night cruise in a balcony cabin, as diamond members, what is our $ discount? Thanks!!! Even a link to the info would be great. :)
