Copenhagen - Le Meridien Palace renovations?

Does anyone know where the Le Meridien Palace is at with their renovations? They were supposed to be done by the end of this year.

According to their danish homepage the renovations will be finished by the end of this year, the restaurant is finished now.

Good news -- the reviews on hotel.com haven't been good due to the renovations going on, but we would like to stay there precruise in August as the location is so good. Should I book now through their website incase the price goes up between now and then? It is a credit card hold not pay in advance and has the normal 24 hour cancelation policy.

That's what I'm thinking. The rates I'm finding right now are far lower than I've seen them ask for summer arrivals in the past.

I don´t know about payments but try to send them a email or look through the homepage.
