package goods store-san juan pier

is there a package goods store to buy wine or vodka -on the pier in san jaun--the celebrity pier--also is before or after the security station-=I know you can bring two bottles of wine on board--can this be magnums-

There is a store, right before security. The vodka is no problem, and they do have wine, but it is a somewhat limited array of wines-we stopped at a liquor store in Old San Juan for the wine because I wanted Pinot Grigio.

How about in the San Juan airport? We are arriving same day the ship leaves - is there someplace in the airport we can buy decent wine (Pinot Grigio works for me) after landing then cab it over to the pier? I don't want to hassle with getting the cab driver to stop at a liquor store. The only other time we cruised out of San Juan I do recall there being a bit of a language issue with our cab driver.

Two years ago we asked at the San Juan airport and were told that the only place to buy liquor is at the Duty Free Shops, which means you can only buy it when you are outbound, not inbound. So I think the answer is no, you cannot buy liquor at the airport after landing to bring on the cruise.
