NCL Sky versus Carnival Destiny NEED ADVICE

Looking fro advice. I talked my soon to be 1st time cruisers brother and his wife, mid 50's, into trying a 4 or 5 day cruise out of Florida. Which of these two would you recommend. I managed to hold a aft cabin on hold for the Destiny, while we try to decide which would be better. We had our first aft cabin a couple of weeks ago are are confirmed believers.The cruise would be at the end of this month, (January, 09).

Um, the NCL Sky doesn't go to Grand Turk, it goes to Freeport, which is Grand Bahama Island, that alone would make me take the Destiny. I love the Sky, was on it Dec 12-15, and will be traveling again in March, but I really can't stand Freeport.

Half Moon Cay is HAL's private island - that Carnival uses when a HAL ship is not there. The Sky would never go there.

For a minute I thought the Sky had a different itinerary. I think OP meant Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. :)

Without a doubt, take the 5 days on the Destiny; that itinerary is wonderful!

I prefer NCL & anytime dining but if you can get 5 days for the price of 4, that's the trump card.
