Nylon Pool from Trinidad ?

Our ship arrives into Trinidad at 8a.m. and we are in port until 5 p.m. ....

 

Is it possible to take a ferry over to the nylon pool near Tobago ? Is it too far ?

 

If not what beach in Trinidad would you recommend that is good ?

The Nylon Pool is in Tobago a nearby island with about 30 miles of water between them

and a ferry service that may/may not get you there and back in time.

 

On Trinidad, you want breezy MARACAS BAY

 

which is very nice

particularly on weekdays when it isn't too crowded with locals

-and about half-hour drive from the dock area.
