mom4travel Posted January 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Just wondering about the "movie theater" on the Navigator -- does anyone have any information about it and/or the type movies played? Anyone recently onboard with latest movie showings??? Thanks!!
QTMichele Posted January 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I've been in mariner's theater - sister ship to the Navigator. It is quaint, sits approximately 60 people and shows older movies (think "new releases" and older at your local video rental store). My parents and siblings are currently sailing on the Navigator - I'll ask them what movies are showing and post their answer if they can recall. mom4travel Posted January 5, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks QTMichele -- I'll keep watching the thread in case they do remember the movies!
jjlabre Posted January 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Do they post the movie titles and times in the Compass? I never think of catching a movie, but if it was raining or cold that's a great option.
engbland Posted January 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2009 We just returned from the 10 day sailing on the Navigator. Movies during the cruise in the screening room included: Elf, It's a Wonderful Life, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Vintage Point, Michael Clayton, 21, Lions for Lambs, No Reservations, The Bucket List, and Mad Money. Roger2008 Posted January 6, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2009 We were on a B2B sailing in November. The movie theatre is small (60 at most) and played mostly current films. Buyer beware because occassionally the foreign version is played and sitting in the theatre is not the location to learn German.
cb at sea Posted January 6, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Too many other things to do besides watching movies! I do know that the titles listed were not "new releases", tho--mainly the same stuff you could get on Pay per View.
