Kiwi Kid Posted January 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Can anyone tell me if there is any leniency on Sun Princess with regards ages of kids in the various clubs? My daughter is 12 when we cruise, turning 13 3 months later and is worried that the kids will be young, as they were on the Pacific Sun . Anyone tried to see if they would allow a 12 year old to access the "Teen Lounge"? I do recall reading other posts re Shark Shack etc and they were very strict but couldn't find anything with regards Princess. Cheers guys. TSLady Posted January 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi Jo Unfortunately they are very strict with their rules. We had quite a few kids in our group and all the boys except one were thirteen and up. The twelve year old was taller than all the others and only a few months off thirteen but was not allowed to join the teen club. None of our kids really utilised the club but met other kids on deck and playing ping pong. There are heaps of kids of all ages and I am sure your 12 year old will find her own group of friends in no time. Make sure to sign up on the first night though. kaseyoz Posted January 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2009 I can also confirm that they are quite strict on ages. You have a better chance if it is outside of school holidays and less kids on board. As sonia mentioned make sure he goes the first night anyway to meet up with the other kids as they do tend to buddy up with like minded kids.
