Travel-Jen Posted February 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Just wonderng how much extra is the "Ultimate Balcony Dining"? We are celebrating an anniversary & birthday this cruise, so may consider this one day. Thanks!
LuvTheGoodLife Posted February 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2009 When we did it in 2007, it was $100 per couple. Well worth it!
spongerob Posted February 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2009 It's most definitely worth it.

sultan_sfo Posted February 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Though not mandatory, suggest you also budget $20 - $30 in cash for tips.
Nancyquilts Posted February 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I used to recommend the ultimate balcony breakfast, but no longer. :( They have left out the crab legs, no longer have a tablecloth (quibble, quibble) and raised the price by 30%. end1946 Posted February 3, 2009 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2009 We just did the Ultimate Balcony Dining two weeks ago on the Crown and, yes, it is still $100.00 a couple and in my opinion it is worth every penny..it was absolutely great and the perfect way to celebrate a special occation. Travel-Jen Posted February 3, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Do you think it will be too cold in Alaska to give it a try? It seems wonderful! We've never been there before, but the weather seems so unpredictable. I guess we'll have to judge when we get there. If too cold, what about the restaurants on the Sapphire? Are the costs reasonable as well?
