2 days to make the most of vancouver

We will have 2 days post cruise to make the most of our Vancouver stay. We planned on doing the Big Bus hop on/off to see the city. Is there any thing that is an absolute DO NOT miss?

Putterdude - We have 4 days in Vancouver :D and were planning on visiting the above but also going to Whistler on the Mountaineer for 1 day (returning by road as we understand you get more time in Whistler itself this way - have tried to get prices direct but quoted that they're not sure when price/option will be available this year?:() IYHO is trip worth added expense or would you suggest alternative:confused:?FYI - family of 4 (kids 7 & 9 yrs). Thanks.

With 4 days in Vancouver then a trip to Whistler or Victoria would make a lot of sense. If the RM doesn't work for you then an idea would be to rent a car and drive up. It is only about a 2 1/2 hr drive in either direction so I can be done easily in a day but there is lots and lots of accomodation up there and you would be money ahead to do it on your own with a rental car.
