Carnival gift shop waterproof

Does anyone know if the carnival gift shop sells waterproof fanny packs?? I know they sell the plastic compartments that go around your neck. Any one have a truely waterproof fanny pack?? and Where did you purchase it??

Never seen one that is water proof. Why the need? Does no harm to cash, credit cards, or Sail & Sign cards to get them wet.

Here are some fanny packs they say are made of waterproof materials. To me waterproof means you can take it scuba diving. I'm sure they mean water resistant.

 

They still make these? They're so 80's.

Thanks thevegasman. YES They are SO 80's and I am stuck in that era!!!:eek:. I do not like to carry wet money, and once tried to just use a zip lock bag, but that ended up getting lost out of my husbands pocket while we were swimming, luckily a fellow passenger heard us talking and had found it and returned it to us.

 

You make me feel old when you say So 80's. Perhaps I am young at heart.

I bought one on the interet that claimed to be waterproof...kind of like those things you would use for cameras. I wanted it b/c we were going ashore in Mexico and did not want to be without our passports...Well, my husband wore it under his bathing suit, and it did not work.:eek: Passports were soaked! I think a ziplock bag inside a fanny pack would have worked better...that's the route we're going next time!:p
