cozumel....1pm dock time

Has anyone docked earlier than the 1pm schedule time in cozumel and if so did they let you get off the ship?

We were on the Destiny in Oct and docked around 12:30. Yes they let us get off the ship. Good thing because we booked our own excursion and had to hurry to get there on time. Then it was like the Marine Corps, we had to wait about a half hour...LMAO:D

We were there back in September and I thought be docked early too but couldn't remember. We booked our own excursion for March and wanna get there as early as we can....hopefully we get to the dock early and off the ship fast!

Ecstasy gets there early in the morning. Glory docked sometime after us the last time I was there. Im sure we were off by 9 am or maybe earlier.

For those who have booked excursions on their own, for what time did you sign up being that we dont dock until 1 pm (Carnival Imagination) .. not sure how fast you can get off the ship. Also, we are interested in spending some time at the beach, some time shopping and some time at the tequila factory.

 

Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

The tour operators deal with the cruise ship passengers every day, when you book your excurion on your own, they should ask what boat your on and when you arrive. Then, they usually tell you where to be at what time. If not, then I would volunteer said info and ask what time to meet. :D
