We booked a BA but were given a B on the Zuiderdam. I cannot tell a difference in the rooms from the diagrams. The BA that we are in is forward. tI think I read somewhere online that the B's are suppose to have slightly bigger balconies. Does anybody have any imput? Thanks!

We were on the Zuiderdam in June of 2003 and then again in August of 2004. In 2003, our room was a "B", in 2004, we had a "BC". There was no difference in the rooms at all... I think the B, BC, BA has to do with the actual location of the cabin on the ship. Our "B" was mid ship, while the BA was more forward.

Our balcony was bigger on the upper verandah deck #4135 than our balcony on the Rotterdam Deck #5102, we were told that cabins are same size, which they were but that the balconys on the upper verandah deck were 3 ft larger than the other decks of the same cat. :)
