IBEEMOM Posted November 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2004 You won't need a "heavy" jacket. However a light weight jacket or sweater would do. Most of the Caribbean has temps in the 80's and 90's the year 'round. The dining room is sometimes cold and you may need something.
Runner Girl Posted November 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2004 You won't need a heavy jacket, but I'd bring whatever you need at night in Florida for being outside on deck at night on the cruise. My sister in law moved to Florida 2 years ago. Now, her idea of cold is vastly different than mine. I went to visit her 2 weeks ago. We run together. We went out one morning and it was about 62 degrees. She thought it was cold out and I did not. So alot has to do with what you're used to. A Northerner might be out on that deck at night and think it's great, and you'll be freezing.

tigers1852 Posted November 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2004 I went in december last year and it was warm when we left Miami but on the last sea day we went through a cold front and it got downright cold that night and in the morning in Miami. Just check the forecast, I didnt and nearly froze to death the last night and getting off the ship in the AM
Earthworm Jim Posted November 23, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2004 ...nearly froze to death the last night and getting off the ship in the AM In Miami you nearly froze to death? You've got to spend some time up north so you know what cold is.;) (And by the same token I've got to spend some time up in Canada so I know what cold is.) coevan Posted November 23, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 23, 2004 and casino are colder then outside, if any reason for a sweater would be inside the ship.
