paul929207 Posted February 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2009 We haven't been on the Island, but my DW has not been on a ship that was warm. She always has a sweater or shawl when inside.
scottam Posted February 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Can anyone who has been on the Island Princess tell us if the ship tends to be on the cool side ( need a sweater or jacket) in the theatre, dining rooms etc on the Panama cruises Thanks Just back from the Island's Feb 12 PC sailing and to be safe, especially if you're senstive to the chill of AC, you should carry a shawl or sweater with you. Mostly I needed a wrap in the evening at a show or in the casino. I found the temp seemed to vary from one eveing to the next and often, I carried my sweater. Just as often, I was really glad that I had it! The dining room was comfortable during dinner. During the day, I don't recall having a problem. Hope this helps! :)
