cprincess Posted February 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Hi, Can someone please tell me if on Celebrity's Elite if you have Concierge Service/Privileges as the Diamond Members with RCCL have? Thanks for the help!
greeneg Posted February 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Apparently nothing close. The RCCL loyalty program has much better perks than does either Celebrity or Azamara. Check on the lines websites and you'll get a valid comparison.
Fblack Posted February 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Elite's still get some nice perks. And the last time I was on the Constellation, everyone had access to the Concierge. Plus introduce yourself to the Hostess early in the cruise. You may get a few special perks.
Brad1185 Posted February 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2009 They should shut down and get rid of the entire CC program. The elite benefits are a joke and what they offer is really They should take what little they spend and lower the price of their $4.60 cup of coffee or something. People are not coming back to Celebrity for these benefits.
hajekfam Posted February 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Celebrity ships do not have a concierge lounge for their top level cruisers as Royal does. There is a concierge aboard Celebrity ships - however that position is similar to a hotel concierge and therefore the service is available to all passenger. They handle lost luggage, and special requests such as help with rental cars. As others have stated, Captains Club members do not really choose Celebrity for the perks - a lot of other lines have more meaninful repeaters perks - but they keep coming back to Celebrity because they enjoy Celebrity cruises. I would second the motion; There are not enough meaningful perks to get anyone excited.I would have to say that we really enjoy the service that Celebrity brings to cruising.Rcl does a fine job but X has them beat. Most of celebrities perks involve spending money. They will hand out half price coupons or 2 for one deals, plus casino coupons that encourage gaming. Not one drink on the house as compared to Rcl's conceige lounge.Thats one of the better perks. Going Coastal Posted February 21, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Even though DH and I enjoy the concierge lounge on Royal, we still come back to Celebrity.
CRUZBUDS Posted February 21, 2009 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Someone summed it up nicely on a previous thread: The best perk of being Elite on Celebrity is, you are automatically Diamond on RCCL.
