Mailing postcards

Recommended Posts

When addressing postcards to be mailed from one of the Caribbean islands do we need to add USA to the destination address or would we just address the card just like we would if we were mailing in the United States?

Thanks, Kim

We've never added USA and they've always made it to their destination although sometimes I'd not say that they made it quickly!!;) On the other hand, grandchildren still enjoyed getting them no matter when they arrived:)

Last year I mailed a bunch of postcards from Hell. I wanted the postmark, so I mailed them in Hell. My relatives got them before we got back from the cruise, but were still wondering, "what the hell???"

Mail must travel fast in Hell. :)

We sent postcards when we were in the Bahamas (we sent in Nassau, not from the ship) and they got to our parents a couple days after we got back. So it probably took about a week for them to get them, which is just a little longer than it would have taken in the states.
