Which hotels have free shuttle to the port of miami

Are family is flying into miami for a 4 day cruise on the Carnival Imagination in November we will have a 2 day pre cruise and a 2 day post cruise. Is there any hotels that have shuttles from the airport to the hotel and the hotel to the port so that we dont need to rent a car?

most likely not......cabs are not that much...you can probably get a hotel by the airport with a shuttle...but you'll most likely need a cab to get to the pier....should be about 25 bucks per cab from the airport itself, maybe a few more bucks from a hotel.

 

some may have pay shuttles......you can probably get super shuttle 1-800-blue van(you can't get south florida quotes/info on line...just call them) to get you to a hotel then cab it to the pier.

 

do a search on this board...this question gets asked all the time.

 

the days inn miami a/p north MAY work for you....but i probably wouldn't stay there for more than 1 night....

If you are familiar with Hotwire or priceline you may want to check biddingfortravel.com and/or betterbidding.com and try and get a nicer hotel for less moeny.....(people here do this often as well) then maybe cab fares won't seem quite as bad.

The LaQuinta Inn Airport East has a shuttle both ways. However it is not in a good location (absolutely nothing around it). We always stay there but only overnight precruise.

I don't know how it will be as I've read mixed reviews but we reserved rooms at the Rodeway Inn Miami & they shuttle from/to airport & cruise port.

For our last cruise we stayed at the best western on the bay inn and marina. They offered a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and we had a super early flight and they let us check in at 10:30 am for no extra charge. They also had a free shuttle to the cruise port. The hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean and currently being remodeled. There was a bar and restaurant on site. There was also a little grocery store about 2 blocks away that we walked to and bought a couple of bottles of wine to bring on board.

If you have 2 days pre and post cruise you don't want to stay at the airport hotels without a car. There is NOTHING to do at the airport hotels. Head for nice areas to visit and roam the streets. Cabs are not expensive. Just don't look for hotels with free shuttles, becauses they won't be the places you want to spend two days at without a car.

last time in miami we stayed at the embassy suites pre cruise. I got great price and it is a very nice hotel , they also have shuttles from airport and to port although i think the port shuttle was 10$
