I wish I could get off work spur of the moment. I live about 45 mins from tampa.. Just can't get off work without plenty of notice.. :( Have fun. I love the Inspiration..

Booked Ecstacy last night with it being three weeks out.......I thought I was crazy! :rolleyes: Booking with only a few days would really stress me out! :eek: lol We have done Galveston several times and also the itinerary so overall guess it won't be so bad. Good times on a ship if the price is right no matter how many previous times to the same port. :p

I booked on a Friday Morning around 7:40am and was onboard that same day by 11:50am. Just have something packed so you can just pick it up and run out the door.

Have a great time. We cruised the Inspiration in December 2007 and had a great time. I loved the adult only pool area in the aft.

I live in Florida as well and have always wondered if there was great deals to be had booking at the last minute.

We did this same thing last September. We booked 2 weeks before. At least there is no waiting, the time flies by until you go. Sometimes you just need a break! Have fun!
