I was one the Glory last year and had a balcony above the casino it was

quiet most of the time except when they had live music then it was noisy!

Several passengers complained and they turned the music down just a ltttle.

The floor of your cabin is NOT the ceiling of the deck below---there's alot of space the between the two. There shouldn't be any major noise issues.

The ship is the Carnival Dream

We were directly above the casino on the Carnival Glory last year and could hear the slot machines below us whenever we were at sea...but it wasn't so loud that it really bothered us. We could, however, tell which machines were below us because the music was loud enough for us to ID it.
