Whitepass rail Which side of Train?

hi, I know this has been asked before I tried the search but couldnt find the answer. We are taking chilkoot 3.5 hour train trip but are doing the

van up first. Is it best to sit on the Left side of the train coming down

Going up you want to be on the left side and coming down you want to be on the right. I rode most of the way out on the platform. It was cold "Sept 11th" but a lot of fun. The leaves on the tress were starting to turn.

I did the same thing. It had rained at one point so everytime I would lean on the rail I would get a drip of rain going down my back.........:eek: But the view was all worth it.
