Whitepass rail Which side of Train?

hi, I know this has been asked before I tried the search but couldnt find the answer. We are taking chilkoot 3.5 hour train trip but are doing the

van up first. Is it best to sit on the Left side of the train coming down

If the train is not full, you can move around and even stand outside on the little platforms so we were not locked into any particular seat. The best view would be on the right side if you are coming down.

Going up you want to be on the left side and coming down you want to be on the right. I rode most of the way out on the platform. It was cold "Sept 11th" but a lot of fun. The leaves on the tress were starting to turn.

I did the same thing. It had rained at one point so everytime I would lean on the rail I would get a drip of rain going down my back.........:eek: But the view was all worth it.
