What to do on Sea Days?

-Get up at around 6:00 or so.

-Watch TV for a bit, usually the ship's Morning Show for day's activities. Possibly order a few pastries and a pot of coffee before breakfast (oh come on, like you've never had more than one breakfast on a cruise)

-Meet up with the rest of the family on the lido deck for breakfast in the buffet.

-Hang around lido for a bit (maybe a little pool time)

-Visit one or two of the morning activities like trivia or whatever other fun things the cruise has got planned.

-Hang with a new cruise friends somewhere around the ship

-Back up to the lido for lunch with the family.

-More pool time.

-Either attend another activity or play a little bingo.

-Shower and get dressed for dinner.

-Have dinner with family in MDR.

-Go back to room to get changed (Sure, button down shirts and khakis are always nice, but I've just gotta have my black t-shirts and jeans!)

-Head down to one of the night's shows ( we usually either see a comedian, magician or hypnotist).

-Sometimes a little arcade time or a little more pool time.

-Grab a quick night snack at either one of the free cafes or the lido deck if it's still open.

-Go back to the cabin, watch a little TV in bed, and fall asleep.

On past cruises we've had the kids with us and we lived by the daily newsletter thingy. We really enjoy the trivia, bingo, pictionary stuff. This time, no kids, so who knows. I can't wait to find out though!

Sleep in....coffee together....light breakfast....stake out a couple of shaded chairs on deck somewhere....break out the iPod, and Kobo, and settle in....

I'll usually work out after lunch....gym is pretty empty, since most people are by the pool.....

We used to do our spa day at sea, but have found some great deals when we are in port...

wake up, eat, read, eat, read, ice cream, read, eat, read, go to show (read while waiting), time for bed. And hope to do it all again the next sea day.

that's what vacations are all about.
