SFParrtHd Posted December 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2004 We are contiplating an Alaska cruise (SF/SF) on the Regal next year. Is there a Lotus Spa on this ship? From the brochures, it doesn't look as if there is one, just a gym. Also, is personal choice available on the Regal? We were on the Crown years ago, but can't remember. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Bob and Dona
LARGIN Posted December 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Do not know about the spa but there is no personal choice on the Regal.
calikak Posted December 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2004 My husband had a wonderful sports massage on the Regal in 2001. At that time, the spa was down in the bowels of the ship, with no windows. I don't know if they've changed anything since then...I think I remember reading somewhere that they'd moved the spa up where the casino was, and moved the casino somewhere else, but I could be thinking of another ship. LARGIN Posted December 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2004 I think that is the plan for 2006 when the Regal goes into drydock.
calikak Posted December 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 1, 2004 That's probably what I'm remembering, thanks Largin! Glad I'm not going senile.

Thanks. Bob and Dona The Regal Princess Lotus Spa is located on Deck 2 and the treatment menu is the same as you’d find on other Princess ships. Once you’re face down on a massage table, you’d have a difficult time determining if you’re on a top deck or down on Deck 2. It’s always interesting to read the operation instructions for the watertight doors while waiting for your treatment, however. While Personal Choice Dining – per se – is not available on Regal Princess, there are alternatives to the dining room. These include The Bravo Pizzeria, the Café Del Sol buffet and Bistro service in Café Del Sol. And of course 24 hour room service. The service and quality in the dining room is quite high – it’s not to be missed…
