Intercontinental or Marriott Ilse Verde

Any advice on which to do for a family of 4 with a 7 yo and 13 yo?

I was thinking Marriott the night before the cruise and Intercontinental the night after the cruise. I think that I will be able to get the Intercontinental for $119 before all the taxes/fees and the Marriott for $99 before extras.

btw: the night before we arrive very late, so will only get to enjoy the hotel in the am. I am thinking $99 is still pretty good though.

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I found Intercontinental on Hotwire for $119 before all the taxes and fees. (This is the price you see before you committ.) After purchase, taxes and fees gave me a total of about $139. I think I heard that there may also be a resort fee that we will have to pay - we will see.
