Oh my gosh......your making the excitment in me florish for my cruise in June.......what a great review so far! Let me know when you "guys/gals" go again! I would love to PAR TAY with you! What a dream vacation for you!!!

Ahhh Cagney’s:

 

Well, not so as I remember anything, but….I will certainly try….

We sat down to dinner, the four of us…..I do remember being “paddled” (bad boy, bad boy) but that came later…Oh you dirty minds!!! Not from Jerome….from Debulicious…..wait….I will fill you in….

 

We were just escorted to our table, when what do my wondering eyes appear?…It’s My Genie Anchumann!

"I see you made it"….hmmm, he’d been talking to that Butler Anoop of our’s hadn’t he???? Anchumann asked us it we had any plans for the evening after dinner and I told him, rather emphatically….“CASINO!” (that rhymes with “TEQUILA!” right?….Right?…)

 

Anyway we were introduced to our server Michkaella…Mikaela, Michaelaella, Micosuki,…okay Mickey for short…I waz drunks, ya know…

 

After having heard about the “Colossal” Shrimp Cocktail (that’s a relief after a day of Teenie Weenie, hearing the words Colossal and Shrimp in the same sentence!), Debulicious said, “Ooohhhh, Let’s share one!”…..Hello??!!…..Debulicious??!!……“ALL OF US CAN ORDER ONE!!!”

Oh palesse!!! I SAID…“Mickomicky…Bring us 4 shrimp cocktails and a Martini!!! Hic!”

 

Why was our server Microminivegievac” looking at me so strangely? I really loved our server, it’s just that I have trouble with her name…..Minovinnymeggiemac. Minominimook. Wait….Mickaella, that’s it!!!

So, D n C order a bottle of wine…”JW, what was that red wine that you had at dinner at the Venetian?” I replied…”Artessa”. “It was Delish…..let’s do that.” Whoboy, not Red Wine on top of aBloody Mary-Martini-Windex-and-Scope….thankfully I said no when the bottle was artfully uncorked…(or was that Jerome????…)

 

Okay, we ordered STEAK. Isn’t that what you are supposed to have in Cagney’s??? Steak….Rare all the friggin way around the table. After reading the CC reviews of chronic complainers, we were bound and determined to put them all to the test…..

 

Rare they were, rare they was, and rare and beautifully rare was the steak….but, yes, those cranky New Yorkers are allergic to seasoning and complain so much that we are the ones who end up with the Non Seasoned For The Elderly Digestive System Steak, (None of us were members of AARP yet….we can tolerate spice you know)…..I won’t criticize or complain, the Steaks were just like the ones Jerome cooks at home, but sorry I still have to Doctor it up, anyway, when it comes off the grill!

 

But, all I will say is that the Filet was au’natual, cooked perfectly rare, …and the flavor…..like it just came off the grill…..YES, it did need salt…..I only wish we had sailed to Tortola the day before and were able to pick up some famous Steak Spice…..But I finished every last bite of it….the cut of meat was superb.

 

Oh, Anoop came by to say Hi and to make sure that none of our Guest’s had eaten me, mistaking me for a Lobster……That was a MasterCard "Priceless" statement! For this was the best delivered comedic line of the Cruise. Thank you for the generous Laugh!!!! See Debulicious…I did remember something!

Cagney’s for dinner was very good, and the service was impeccable. Thank you Mickaela. Micomookie, Micromangement, Micklakiloca, Michaella. You were absolutely phenomenal and a great sport!

 

TIME FOR A CIGARETTE!!!! Thank gawd D and I smoke….leaving the men (Yeah right!) at the table to talk about Men things….(again, Yeah Right!).

D and I went out to the deck just adjacent to the windows of Cagney’s….it was also the Ping Pong area (Yes I did!)….Hmm…in front of all the windows, in the middle of everyone’s dinner…..I bent over the Ping Pong Table and Debulicious began to Paddle Me!!!! Yes she did, just like a Dominatrix. Whoop! Whoop!

 

You should have seen the startled faces with pasta dripping down their chins…..Whoop! Whoop! (Hey girl..not so hard!)

 

We entered into the dining room again, just as if nothing ever happened….to looks and stares…..OH Get Over It! Have some Fun People…..

 

Jerome and the “Silent One” just had their mouths dropping to the floor….nothing like being spontaneous and able to “Wreck ‘em” ehh Debulicous?!

 

I waz really raring to go….but no…..one of us just HAD TO ORDER Ba-Na-NAAAS Frigging Foster……WITH….a frigging Cheezecake too boot…

Okay time for another Cigarette, but this time Jerome made me use the “Other” door and not the Ping Pong Door….

 

'Nana's came, I tasted, it was Decadent, it was Marvelous, it was what everybody wants to experience…..sorry…I wanted the Casino…it was an inconvenience that I had to eat……ONLY KIDDING!!!!

 

So far we have met Debulicious.....well wait.....Boobalicious is next.........

Well my darling Queen; Tonight Smooky started the meet and mingle name gathering for the March 26, 2010 Dawn Southern Caribbean cruise. He is also looking for photos of people who are going.

 

From Smooky: "Hey folks....we were also on the 3/28/09 Dawn cruise and have booked the Dawn 3/26/10 cruise. Our 3/28/09 roll call just hit 100 pages, and now it's time for the group to move over here and continue the fun until next year."

Casino:

 

Having our ‘Nana’s fill from Cagney’s, we went to the Casino…Just a side note….I did win here, but as you will see….Jerome did NOT take my money that night.

 

I was whizzing around the Casino….no not that kind of “Pee Pee Pants” whizzing,….she was there, by the way, and of course I pointed her out to everyone….IN THE SAME SPOT, ON THE SAME MACHINE!!!!…eeeewww.

 

Jerome was holding court (Hey that's My Job!)with the Jolly Jester’s of our CC Roll Call…it just seemed everyone was there, when, low and behold….son of a gun…..I hit the Jackpot on a slot machine……

 

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding…..I started Screaming…I Screamed again….I screamed some more….Hellloooo!…You over there??? No one was paying attention!

 

It was also Monte Carlo Night in the Casino and Ray Ray (The Asst Cruise Director) and Shona (The Cruise Director) were doing their “show” bit….

 

I was so frustrated that Jerome, all the way across the room, was not paying attention to my “Jackpot” that I went over to Shona, with her mic in hand, interrupting her Monte Carlo Bit…saying to her “You have really got to come and see this!” Shona followed me and then in the Mic says….”Oh My Goodness Gracious Me!” “Jackpot”!!!!!

 

Finally, Jerome is looking at me, and I know mumbling to the group…”What is JW getting himself into now?”

Well, it took 45 minutes to get that penny machine to pay out fully….yes I had indeed won a “Jackpot” so to speak…on a Penny Machine….$800.00.

 

What finally happened is that Jerome, FINALLY, brought the group over and there it was…DING. DING. DIONG. DING….huge crowd around me and my machine...

 

Jerome to me: “JW what did you win?” Iz drunk so I saz….“I dunno?”

 

Debralicious and then what I will call Boobalicious are there, and Jerome is NOT so smart that night…he thought it was just a flook, after the Pee Pee pants episode….well…

 

Everyone finally left us, and Debulicious stayed with me for about an hour. C came back...Silent as usual (You know what that means...)

 

I hopped from machine to machine with D and was back up to over $400.00 (at 2 o’clock in the morning!) and she finally said….JW ‘CASH OUT” “CASH THE FRIGG OUT!!”.

 

“What?, I can’t hear you“…..“Hunglow….may I please have another Mrs. Martini?” Well D got tired and went to bed….but I was NOT alone…..

 

Out of the blue came Boobalicious! Another one of the CC group….she sat down and, well, she would let me know if the machine I was playing was about to pay off….”as her Headlights came on…” Hey listen…”Don’t ask, Don’t Tell!”

 

Every machine she “boobed”, kinda rocked ‘em back and forth on the screen for me…(I’m gay and this could only happen too me…..Livin’ La Vida Loca!”) we won!!!!

 

Well believe it or not….We played until 5 in the morning…..!!!!

"Lucy, You Gotta Lotta Splainin' To Do!!!!" is all I thought...It was 5 in the morning!

 

Girl’s, a little secret when you want to stay out late….Blame it on your Gay Best Friend!!!!!!! The Hubby will always believe it.

 

Anyway….I blew all the winnings that night but had a blast and the Casino stayed open for us…….all the while thou, as I found out as I was leaving the Casino….Boobalicious’ hubby was at the Craps table, watching our every move……oh, crap…………….More 'Splainin'......

 

Tomorrow: SILC’s Birthday in St Thomas…………….

Thank you so much for posting. I am throughly enjoying your review! Looking forward to each new installment. We'll be on the 2 nighter on the Dawn soon and I also love the casino. So, can you spill and share? Which machines did you hit on and which one was "pee-pee pants" playing on. Might have to give it a try, but I'll be sure to check the stool first!

Awesome reveiw JW , Ronnie and I enjoyed meeting you and Jerome. I was at the blackjack table and I remember the slot machine just kept going up and up ....

 

I would not go on another cruise without checking out the "roll call" for that cruise. As you said you knew people as soon as you arrived .

 

I'm looking forward to the rest.:p

It's me, the bearded bald piano player himself :D I'm hoping that you'll include at least one reference to leather in your next chapter...I believe we're coming up to the cocktail party in your Suite, non? ;)

I think I recognize a few names here; if not names exactly, then at least some references that sound familiar! I promise you that it's no stretch for me to say that the CC gang truly helped make my experience on the Dawn even more wonderful than it already was :)

I do so hope that the powers that be come to terms, as it were, and that I will be cruising with y'all sooner than later!

Looking forward to the rest of your review, and very much looking forward to seeing the two of you again sometime this year.
