Xcaret or Chankanaab???

Need your advise please:o what excursion would be better choice to go with 2 year old?we would like to swim and have fun,but without making baby too tired.I understand to Xcaret we have to get on boat ride and there is no ground way to go there?Can you show me some of your pic of Xcaret please.

If your ship docks in Cozumel, I would go to Chankanaab as it's waaaay closer--a rather short taxi ride. If the ship stops in Playa Del Carmen or Cancun, then Xcaret. I've been to both some years ago and the snorkeling experience is similar.

I looked into this on our last cruise, and I'm pretty sure the transportation alone to Xcaret takes about 2 hours, if I remember correctly. It's a ferry ride, in addition to a substantial bus ride.
