Hobiecat01 Posted April 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2009 All, I saw in today's Wall Street that one of congressional committees overseeing the fed banking bailout is looking at banks' that have hiked their credit card rates and fees with our good reason. Bank of America was specifically pointed out since they raised (doubled) many of their cc rates - RCCL cards? Evedently congress has been inundated with complaints. Maybe there is hope... Remember the opposite of Progress is Congress... :D ------------------------- Sea ya! temple1 Posted April 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I do know that Chase had to back down on all their changes to some of their low interest rate cards. :D
abhb Posted April 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I got a letter today from Chase saying that my increase is no longer going to happen:D. I had received their original letter stating my interest rate was going up in Feb. I just wish BOA would recind their increase.
