Winter cruise

I know this question is redundant, but I need to know. What kind of attire should I bring for a winter (Dec. 26th) cruise? It is a Western Caribbean cruise. Should I still pack mostly shorts? Or will it be too cool for shorts on the ship at night? I know the weather in Mexico is warm during this time, but I figure being on the cruise, on the water, it might be cool. Please respond :D :p :)

:) I was in the eastern Caribbean one Feb., and it was hot. I should add that I am from Canada, but we always had light clothes on, as did the other cruisers.

You are asking about attire in the evening, onboard? During the day, swimsiut, shorts. What ship? Some require more resort casual..? In any case, it will not be cold.

If your sailing out of NY bring warm clothes. Sailing out of SoFla it will be the same tropical weather as always, it does not get cold. ;)

If you are leaving from FLL or South, the whole time will be warm. :)

On our Western Caribbean cruise in December 2002, I found I wanted a light jacket or sweater out on deck in the evenings. Also, if it gets quite warm during the day, the AC will be on and I also found it to be chilly in the dining room in the evening.

 

We're leaving Saturday for another Western Caribbean itinerary and I'll have a jacket packed.
