gullgeorge Posted December 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2004 Day 7 – Half Moon Cay This is the seventh of a daily review of the 11/27 sailing of the Zaandam, eastern Caribbean cruise. The daily review will be short covering the major events. Half Moon Cay We did not go over to the island, so I have no report on the island. We are here with the Rotterdam which arrived about a half hour after us. We decided to have a quite day on ship before heading home. Pictures The photographers are not pushy and if you do not want you picture taken, they will let you pass. There are the normal times for pictures and they have opportunities to have your picture taken at various locations throughout the ship. Prices start at $6.95 (very few at this price) and most of them are $10.95 & $20.95. Other Stuff The dinning room is closed for lunch but all other lunch locations are open including the buffet on the island. Baggage tags were delivered yesterday along with you disembarkation number of letter.
HeatherInFlorida Posted December 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2004 Just curious as to why you decided not to go ashore on Half Moon Cay? It is so glorious! Or were they unable to tender ashore?
TLA Posted December 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2004 You missed a great day on HMC! The weather could not have been more perfect...no clouds or humidity..not too hot but warm enough that I didn't freeze after getting out of the water. We also enjoyed the fact that there were plenty of lounge chairs - even some empty hammocks. We had a great time!
